A Map of 20+ Years
I didn’t just stay in one place; I absorbed the different flavors of Korea as I grew.
- Busan (10+ Years): My childhood was shaped by the salty breeze and the bold, honest flavors of the southern coast.
- Seoul (10+ Years): I spent a decade in the heart of the capital, witnessing the birth and death of countless food trends.
- Cheorwon (Military Service): My time in the rugged north taught me the value of a warm, simple meal in the harshest conditions.
- Gyeonggi-do (Current): Today, I live and work in the dynamic cities of Gyeonggi-do, finding hidden gems where tradition meets the modern office worker’s reality.
Depth Over Superficiality
If there is one thing I dislike, it is “scratching the surface.” Whether it’s a new hobby or a new restaurant, I crave depth. In my university years, I immersed myself in the classics—from the adventures of Journey to the West to the sharp logic of Sherlock Holmes. I spent nights diving into Eastern and Western philosophy, trying to understand the roots of our cultures.
This same craving for depth is why I don’t trust star ratings. A number can’t capture the soul of a restaurant. I’m here to give you the “real” experience, not a superficial trend.
Fueling the Life I Love
My ultimate goal is simple: to enjoy my passions until the day I die. To do that, I prioritize health above all else.
- On the Court: You’ll find me practicing tennis at least once a week.
- In the Gym: Weekdays are for weight training to keep my body as sharp as my appetite.
- On the Slopes: When winter hits, I’m out skiing.
I have been immersed in Japanese animation since my early teens.
Why I’m Your Guide
I’m not a professional food critic. I’m a 27-year-old who has lived across the entire peninsula, who values health, and who refuses to settle for “good enough.”
I invite you to look beyond the filters and the fake reviews. Let’s discover the flavors that have actually fueled my 27-year journey.
