Years of Survival: 6 Years
Based on the exceptional quality of the eel, its strategic location, and the sheer scale of the restaurant, this place is a “Reliable Default” that could easily last over 10 years. It’s an ideal destination for a family drive when you need a breath of fresh air.
Authentic K-Level: 5/5
Salt-grilled eel is a culinary experience unique to Korea.
While Japan is famous for its eel (Unagi), it is typically served marinated with a sweet soy base or as a rice bowl (Donburi). Here, the focus is on the pure, smoky flavor of the eel itself, grilled over charcoal with nothing but a pinch of salt.
Price Range: Approx. $35 per person
The price is determined by weight (grams) and fluctuates based on the daily market price (Sikka).
For a party of three, we ordered three eels and were completely full, totaling about 140,000 KRW (~$96 USD).
Note that there is an additional “Table Setting Fee” (Sang-charim-bi) of about $2 per person for the side dishes.
Ordering Difficulty: Medium
The logic is simple: order one eel per adult. Since the menu is so focused, you won’t struggle with too many choices.
Ordering Tip (The Must-Tries): Charcoal-Grilled Eel
There are no other main dishes here. You come to this specific coordination for one reason and one reason only: the grilled eel.
Getting There: Car or Taxi
If the weather is nice, I highly recommend driving along the Han River to enjoy the blue waters and scenery. In fact, there aren’t many viable public transportation options, so a car or taxi is practically mandatory.

Personal Experience:
Don’t be intimidated when the eel first hits the grill—they are massive. However, through the “processing” of grilling, the length shrinks to about 60% of its raw size.

Full-Service Expert Grilling.
While their size makes them difficult to handle, you don’t need to worry; the staff handles the entire grilling and cutting process for you. All you have to do is wait for the perfect char and enjoy.
